AI on this site
This site both writes about AI and uses it. This page says where, what the limits are and who is responsible. It follows the same standard the work argues for: disclosure at the point of interaction, humans accountable for outputs.
The assistant
The Ask page runs an AI assistant. It answers only from the case studies, essays and talks published on this site and links its sources. Replies are generated by a large language model and can be wrong. The assistant cannot agree prices, availability or any other commitment, cannot send messages and takes no actions beyond answering. Anything that matters goes through direct contact.
Writing and editorial responsibility
Some texts, diagrams and downloadable resources on this site are drafted with AI assistance. Nothing is published without human review and editing. Petri Lahdelma holds editorial responsibility for everything published here, including AI-assisted material. Factual claims are backed by receipts: links, screenshots and metrics.
Images
The home page hero is a portrait photograph composited with AI-generated, hand-finished artwork, and is captioned as such. Illustrations and diagrams across the site are stylised ink-style artwork prepared with AI assistance and corrected by hand. No image on this site presents AI-generated media as an authentic record of a real person or event.
Data
Questions typed into the assistant are sent to the AI provider (Anthropic, or Google as a fallback) together with excerpts of this site's published content, solely to generate the answer. This site does not store questions or answers. Rate-limiting keeps only short-lived request counters against an anonymised address, never message content. The rest of the site's data handling is covered by the privacy policy.
Report a problem
If the assistant answers something wrong, or an AI disclosure here looks inaccurate or missing, email hello@petrilahdelma.com. Reports go straight to the person accountable for this site.
